2008 AKC RESPONSIBLE DOG OWNERSHIP DAY
Dear Dog Lover:
We hope you will join us in September 2008 as the AKC invites and encourages all dog and pet-related organizations to commemorate AKC Responsible Dog Ownership Day by holding a community event that publicly promotes responsible dog ownership anytime during the month.
The AKC will be hosting our own events in New York City on Saturday, September 20, 2008 at Madison Square Park and Raleigh, NC on Saturday, September 27, 2008 at the North Carolina State Fairgrounds. These flagship events will highlight the AKC programs and services that support responsible dog ownership and publicize to news media and the dog loving community that events are being held across the country by organizations such as yours.
