Save the Date – AKC National Detection Dog Conference, Durham NC, Aug. 23 – 25, 2022

The AKC Detection Dog Task Force (DDTF) is pleased to announce the AKC National Detection Dog Conference will return August 23 – 25, 2022, in Durham NC!

This year’s theme is bringing together key stakeholders to improve availability of high-quality, American-bred, -raised, and -trained dogs to protect our national and public security.

The conference focuses on presenting practical information for each of our key audiences –breeders, puppy-raisers, trainers, and buyers—and providing real, actionable resources that improve participants’ opportunities to work together for a successful future.

Venue:  Sheraton Imperial Hotel Raleigh-Durham, 4700 Emperor Blvd, Durham, NC 27703 (*Room Block Information will be coming soon)

Tentative Schedule:

Tuesday, August 23 (Afternoon/Evening) – Registration/Welcome Reception/Dinner

Wednesday August 24 (8:30 am – 5:15 pm) – Conference Programming and breeder/buyer meet-up event

Thursday August 25 (8:30 am – 12:30 pm) – Conference Programming
