Bailey’s Summer Reading Challenge hosted by AKC Public Education encourages summer reading while promoting the importance of the human-canine bond. - All participants should read their books independently to the best of their ability.
- Each completed book should be recorded on the reading log.
- Parent/guardian must submit the reading response along with reading log.
- Discussion questions have been included as a tool to help guide conversations about the books that have been read.
- Registration for Bailey’s Summer Reading Challenge will close at 11 PM ET on 8/1/24. All reading logs must be submitted by 11 PM ET on 9/1/2024.
- It is not required to pick texts from the suggested reading lists; they are just recommendations to get started!
- Prizes will be awarded to eligible participants who submit a reading log and response. The prizes awarded will be based on the reading tier reached (see full contest rules and forms in link below). All prizes will be sent to the address on file by 9/30/24.
