    What is a webinar?

    A webinar is a live, web-based video conference that connects the individual hosting the webinar to an audience. The host will deliver a live presentation at which participants may ask questions and interact with the host. Attendees will be emailed a link with directions on how to access the webinar after registering.

    What types of things will I learn?

    Our webinars will cover a variety of topics that will be of interest to Clubs. You may suggest a webinar topic by emailing education@akc.org.

    Will I be able to ask questions?

    Yes. You will be able to raise your virtual hand and ask a question verbally. You may also choose to type your question to the host.

    How will I know what to do when I arrive?

    The first few minutes of every webinar will review how to navigate. Attendees will be shown how to raise their virtual hand, type in the chat box and respond to any live polls offered.

    How much does it cost?

    The AKC Education Webinar Series is offered free of charge.

    How do I log in?

    Once you have registered for the webinar, you will receive an email with information regarding how to access the webinar.

    What if I can’t make it?

    If you have registered for the webinar, a link to the recording will be emailed to you following the webinar. Additionally, links to the webinar recordings will be available under “Previously Aired Webinars.”

    How long will the webinar last?

    The webinar will last approximately one hour.

    How do I register?

    Click the button on the webinar webpage for the webinar you would like to attend.

    Will I receive a reminder?

    Once you have registered, you will receive an emailed reminder one week prior to the webinar, they day before and an hour before it begins.

    If I sign up for one webinar, am I signed up for the entire series?

    No. You must register for individual webinars.
