The next meeting of Texas’ Licensed Breeders Advisory Committee is scheduled for Monday, November 30, 2020, at 10AM.  The meeting will be held via video conference and will be broadcast live on the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation’s YouTube channel.

AKC Government Relations (AKC GR) encourages Texas breeders licensed under the state’s Dog and Cat Breeders Act and other interested parties to watch the November 30 meeting.  Click here to receive meeting notices from TDLR.

In June, the states’ Licensed Breeders Program was recommended for elimination due to fundamental flaws with the law that created it, the program’s ineffectiveness, and significant operational costs.  Click here for more information on the recommendation.
