The special meeting in Kittery, Maine, that was originally scheduled for today, Wednesday, September 9, 2020, to receive public input on proposed restrictions on dogs at public beaches, has been postponed due to an uptick in York County COVID cases.
At the upcoming September 14, 2020, Town Council meeting, an agenda item will include discussing next steps for the proposed amendments, which cannot be adopted without holding a public hearing. A new date for the public hearing is uncertain at this point.
