"King," the Wire Fox Terrier, won Best in Show at Saturday's Kennel Club of Palm Springs Dog Show.

After four days of competitions at the Palm Springs All-Breed Dog Show in Indigo, California, two dogs were awarded Best in Show on Saturday and Sunday, respectively.

Saturday’s All-Breed Dog Show Results

Saturday’s Best in Show winner was the Wire Fox Terrier, “GCHB Kingarthur Van Foliny Home,” (also known as King) handled by Gabriel Rangel, owned by Victor Malzoni Jr, and bred by Mr. and Mrs. R De Munter and D Ulterwijk.

Reserve dog went to the Whippet, “GCHB Pinnacle Kentucky Bourbon,” (also known as Bourbon) handled by Cheslie Pickett-Smithey, owned by K. Latimer, J. Descutner, and J. & C. Smithey, and bred by Justin Smithey & Yvonne Sovereign.

Sunday’s All-Breed Dog Show Results

Sunday’s Best in Show winner was the Bouvier des Flandres, “GCHS Jbbs Turn The Tables,” (also known as DJ) handled by Larry Fenner, owned by Patte Klecan and Ray Waterman, and bred by Ray Waterman, Yvonne Savard, and Patte Kecan.

Reserve dog went to the Bichon Frise, “GCHB Fanatic Scott Yf,” (also known as Scott) handled by Dennis Brown, owned by Laura Winston and Fan Yang, and bred by Fan Yang.

A Perfect Dog Obedience Score

The Palm Springs show also resulted in a High Combined/High in Trial dog. “GCH CH OTCH Quantum’s Leap, UDX 5, OGM” — a Border Collie also known as Devon — scored a perfect 200 in obedience with his owner, Catherine Zinsky.
