Summer equals nice weather, and nice weather equals people gathering to eat, chat, and have a good time. It seems like, from June until August, you have a barbecue, picnic, or some other outdoor party every weekend. And what’s a party, if your dog isn’t invited? If you are bringing your dog along to these events, you need to be extra cautious of where he is and what he’s doing . . . for example what he may be finding to eat.

If you’re looking to share some of your warm weather favorites with your dog, remember, always in moderation! And not all summer foods are OK to share. Take this quiz and find out which are summer shareable and which are a no-go.

Remember, if you ever have a question about what you can or can’t give your dog, it’s always a good idea to check with your veterinarian.
