Obedience Advisory Committee

To the members of the obedience community:

We're pleased to present to you the 2007 Obedience Advisory Committee (2007 OAC), recommendations for the sport of Obedience.

The 2007 OAC and AKC Staff have literally devoted 100's of hours of time toward the review and development of the ideas submitted by the fancy during our solicitation period in 2006.

Our task is not over and we now need your assistance again.

We ask that you take the time to review the recommendations and give us your input, thoughts and suggestions. You will have until March 15, 2008 to submit your comments.

Comments need to be submitted electronically to: OBEDadv@akc.org

The committee will meet again after March 15, 2008 date, to review the comments, suggestions and ideas, received. This will lead us toward the final development of the recommendations to go before the AKC Board of Directors.

Again, my thanks to the 2007 OAC Committee and AKC Staff Members who have given of their knowledge and time to work on this project.

Our thanks to the members of the fancy who took the time to forward suggestions and ideas in 2006 for the betterment of our sport.

We look forward to the comments from the fancy in our efforts toward the growth of obedience and what is believed to be very positive recommendations of change to our sport.
