The American Kennel Club (AKC®) is pleased to announce that Jill Bell has been hired as an Executive Field Representative in Conformation covering the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. She joined the staff on June 7th.
“Jill brings a high level of expertise to this position, having bred and handled dogs for many years,” said Patricia Proctor, Field Director, Conformation. “We are happy to welcome her as a member of the AKC Staff.”
Ms. Bell has been in the sport since she was a child and her family got their first Great Dane in 1970. She bred Whippets and Great Danes and became a professional handler. Ms. Bell has finished countless dogs and won many National Specialties and Best in Show titles.
In addition to working as a successful professional handler for more than 20 years, Ms. Bell has spent the past several years as an AKC Licensed Superintendent for Jack Onofrio Dog Shows. She is eager to embark on this new journey as an Executive Field Representative for the American Kennel Club.
