New York, NY – The American Kennel Club (AKC) has been informed by the AKC Canine Health Foundation of an unfavorable verdict in the case of Deborah Lynch v. AKC/CHF.

The AKC shares their disappointment and is hopeful that an appeal will prove favorable. In spite of this outcome, the AKC is proud of the AKC Canine Health Foundation and all that it has achieved and will continue to support the important work of the Foundation to improve the health and welfare of all dogs.

Founded in 1995, the AKC Canine Health Foundation is a registered 501(c)3 public nonprofit organization governed separately by its own board.
