The annual event takes place Dec. 17-18 in Orlando, FL, in conjunction with the AKC/Eukanuba National Championship and the AKC Obedience Classic.

Laura tells Daisy’s story: “Daisy is a Boston Terrier/Chihuahua mix who came into my life very unexpectedly. She was a young and very frightened dog in desperate need of socialization and confidence. I turned to agility in the hope that being around so many people and dogs would desensitize her and ease her fears.  She took to agility immediately, and it soon became evident that she really loved it.  It took her a while to get used to all the people, but the friends I have made through agility have been a great help. On occasion she still won't trust a judge or two, but she has undergone quite a transformation; I think I have as well!  Daisy is my first agility dog, and we have enjoyed learning and growing together. I am very grateful for this experience, and the unexpected little dog that has made it all possible.”
