This is part of a series spotlighting All American Dogs competing in the national AKC Junior Agility Competition held on Dec. 13 in Orlando, FL, in conjunction with the AKC/Royal Canin National Championship, the AKC Agility Invitational, and AKC Obedience Classic.

Name: Levi Steed RI AX AXJ NF CGC

Call Name: Levi

Age: 4 years

Gender: Male

Jump Height: 16 inches

Junior Handler: Kendall Betts

Hometown: Gainesville, TX

Jessica says of Levi: “Levi was a kennel dog. He was 1 year old when I got him and he hated toys, was dog- and people-reactive, and scared to death of loud noises. Now he’s the most calm, level-headed dog. He loves other dogs and kids and doing demonstrations at elementary schools and events. Agility has done so much to bring his confidence up. Every time someone says ‘agility’ or ‘ball,’ he goes crazy. Now, at almost 5, I couldn’t ask for a better Novice A dog. He truly made me the handler I am today, and I couldn’t be more grateful.”
