Diva NJP CAX owned by Debra Lajoie of Buda, TX
“The zing of the string transforms Diva from a mild-mannered terrier mix into 10 pounds of speedy courser,” Debra says.
Diva is crazy for AKC Coursing Ability Tests. She earned her first coursing ribbon on Dec. 1, 2012. Less than two years later, the little dog earned the top title in AKC Coursing Ability – the Coursing Ability Excellent (CAX) title – at the same club’s event (the Afghan Hound Club of Austin, TX.) Dogs must pass the AKC Coursing Ability Test 25 times to earn the CAX.
At age of 10, Diva is spry and continues to compete in AKC Coursing Ability Tests, with her sights set on a CAX2. Diva also competes in K9 Nose Work and AKC Agility.
In her down time, Diva visits seniors at an assisted living facility.
Diva is a member of the AKC Canine Partners program for all dogs including mixed-breeds and rescues. A Canine Partners membership makes your dog eligible for fun AKC events like Coursing, Agility and Rally: /dog-owners/canine-partners/enroll/
