Melanie Woods and her mother Colleen Woods of Sewickley, PA, rescued Luci, who is now a multi-dog sports titled competitor through AKC Canine Partners.
Both Melanie, a junior handler, and her mother show Luci in AKC Agility, Obedience, Rally and Coursing Ability. Luci also competes in Barn Hunt through the Barn Hunt Association (BHA); the AKC recognizes BHA titles.
Luci also has earned her AKC Canine Good Citizen title and is certified through Therapy Dogs International.
“We love when people come up to ask what breed she is. We are very proud of her,” Colleen said. “Thank you for having the Canine Partners program so that Luci can enjoy all of these great opportunities.”
