Zeus is a Rottweiler-mix who was staying with a family friend in North Carolina while his military family was stationed in Korea. But the friend called the family to tell them the dog had passed away. It came as a huge surprise when they got a call this week from a good samaritan who found Zeus and is caring for him until he can be reunited with this family, now living in Washington state.
Mixed-breeds, like Zeus, can be part of the AKC Canine Partners community for all dogs, including rescues.
