In reality, dogs do not see as well as a human. Perfect human vision is 20/20 while a dog’s average vision is 20/75. Dogs can see best at dusk and dawn and can recognize objects best when they are moving. Contrary to popular belief, dogs are not color blind, but also do not see as many colors as humans. Most studies show that dogs see colors in various shades of blue and yellow.
