The top three All American Dogs of each height class have qualified for the 2021 AKC Fast CAT Invitational taking place Dec. 15 – 18 in Orlando, FL.
In FastCAT, dogs run individually in a timed 100-yard dash.
The top three fastest dogs of each breed, based on the 2020 averages, were invited to the event. For those breeds that have multiple size varieties, the top three of each size received an invite.
The dogs will be judged in two categories:
Pure Breed: This competition is based on raw speed. The top 10 fastest dogs in each height will be recognized.
Speed of the Breed: These runs will be tabulated according to the highest percentage of speed run over the established average speed of a given breed. The dogs (of each height category) with the top 10 highest percentage of speeds run above the breed’s average speed will be recognized.
