Now almost 8 years old, Boone, an Australian Cattle Dog mix, was found wandering in Georgia. He was taken to a Florida rescue group to foster for adoption. After seeing his online photo and bio, Sandra knew Boone was destined to become part of her family. “Boone has boundless energy and loves to do everything – as long as there is a treat in there somewhere!” she said.
Following puppy and basic obedience classes at DogSense Obedience, they started Rally and worked their way up to the more advanced classes. “I enjoy the teamwork aspect of Rally,” Sandra said. “After earning our Rally Master title, I decided we would continue competing towards a RACH.
“Boone is the class clown and is easily distracted by applause in another ring thinking, of course, that it is for him. However, with experience in the ring he became focused to the point we earned three High in Trials and four High Combined in one weekend.” Boone earned his RACH on March 18, 2023, at the Tampa Bay Dog Training Club.
