With AKC Canine Partners from the Beginning:

Teah OA OAJ OF THD and California’s Little Orphan Annie NA NAJ NF owned by Deborah Hoeflich of Morro Bay, CA

Debby’s dog, Teah, has been part of the AKC Canine Partners program since it started 10 years ago.

Before Canine Partners, “Teah was competing (in another venue), but at the top level, it was very hard for a 6-pound Chihuahua to make time. She loved competing, so we were excited that she could now compete in AKC events through the Canine Partners program,” Debby said.

Teah enjoyed a 10-year career competing and doing agility demonstrations before she retired at age 12. She now has given more than 300 hours of therapy dog visits.

Annie

Debby’s new agility competition dog, Annie, is working towards a MACH. A friend rescued her and was fostering the puppy when Debby adopted her at about 4 months of age.

“She is shining now, and we are so lucky to have her. Teah is showing her the way and is a great ‘big sister.’ Thank you for including these amazing All-American Dogs in your program.”
