Public Education Coordinator

What is a Public Education Coordinator?

While the Public Education Coordinator role is not a requirement for a club, we strongly recommend appointing an individual to this role. The individual can help coordinate educational activities and programs for the club members and the public. They can also be the point of contact for the club and the AKC Education Department’s own Public Education Coordinator.

Why is this a benefit to my club?

  • Public Education Coordinators can help find educational resources and programs for the club.
  • They can plan and coordinate educational activities for the club members or the community.
  • They can be the point of contact between the club and the AKC Education Department.
  • They can help recruit children for Juniors and Peewee activities.

  • Access to educational resources and useful materials related to many different topics.
