King's Best in Show win made him the 15th Wire Fox Terrier to earn the top title at Westminster. The breed is the winningest at Westminster, followed only by the Scottish Terrier, which has eight wins.
Bean, a Sussex Spaniel, was one of the crowd favorites in Madison Square Garden on Tuesday night. After winning the Sporting Group, fans chanted "Bean" for the dog, whose breed has only won Best In Show at Westminster once.
Wilma the Boxer won the Working Group at the 143rd Westminster Dog Show. The Boxer is tied for the fourth most Westminster BIS wins with four wins.
Burns the Longhaired Dachshund was another crowd favorite, as a Dachshund has never won Best in Show at Westminster. The Longhaired Dachshund has only won Best in Group for the Hound Group once before, in 1998.
Baby Lars the Bouvier des Flandres won Best in Group for the Herding Group. At Westminster, the Bouvier des Flandres has won Best in Group three times before, but has never won Best in Show.
Colton the Schipperke won Best in Group in the Non-sporting Group. It was the first time a Schipperke placed Best in Group at Westminster.
Best in Group for the Toy Group went to Bono the Havanese. This was the first time the breed placed first in its group at Westminster. Bono went on to win Reserve Best in Show.

The 143rd Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show, presented by Purina® Pro Plan® awarded one dog in each of the seven groups Best in Group. Some of these winning breeds, like the Wire Fox Terrier, have won their group 23 times. Yet others, like the Schipperke and Havanese, won their groups for the first time.
