Our website has been completely redesigned with special features just for dog lovers. Here’s what’s new on the site:
- New organization. Looking for information on finding the right dog for you? Or maybe you just want to read entertaining dog articles. Our new content organization makes it quick and easy to find exactly what you’re looking for. With updated content categories, relevant tags, and featured content spotlights, you’ll see the very best our site has to offer.
- Better access to products and services. Whether you’re looking for a dog groomer or ready to register your dog, you can find all our products and services in one place. Under the top Products & Services drop-down, you can find everything you need as a dog lover and owner. You’ll find the AKC Shop, Marketplace, training services, and more.
- Expert Advice content section. All of our content formerly in “Resources,” has been moved to our brand new “Expert Advice” section. In Expert Advice, you’ll find the best information on health, training, and nutrition, as well as fun lifestyle content and breaking dog news. What about our historical content? It’s still there! Even better, all the pages have been redesigned with better images, graphics, and layout.
- Improved breed pages. Want to learn more about the history of the affectionate, smart, and alert Pembroke Welsh Corgi? What about the grooming needs of the ever-popular Labrador Retriever? Our improved breed pages have all of that information and more. With more than 190 breeds to choose from, you’ll find a wealth of knowledge about your favorite dogs. Plus, if you’re looking for a puppy, you’ll have everything you need to know about choosing the right dog for you.

The FAQ includes step-by-step instructions, video tutorials, and quick links.
We’ve also developed a series of recorded webinars to facilitate using the site with step-by-step walkthroughs. These are narrated introductions to breed pages, sports pages, search, and more, highlighting major features by explaining what they are and how they work.
