After nearly two full days of competition between more than 100 dogs, one Golden Retriever came out on top: Juicy. Six-year-old Juicy (OTCH7 High Times Totally Sauced UDX7 PCD OGM SH) earned a score of 517.5/520 and was handled by owner Sharri Lynn Sibert of Schoolcraft, MI.
No stranger to success, Juicy was the first runner-up at the 2020 National Obedience Championship.
On Saturday, each dog competed in eight rings throughout the day. At the end of the day, the top 50 dogs were announced to move on to Sunday’s competition.
On Sunday, the top 50 dogs competed in eight rings and the top 20 moved on to the afternoon. By Sunday afternoon, the top 20 dogs competed in four rings, and the top 10 dogs were awarded.
In total, the top 20 dogs competed 20 times over the course of two days.
