It is now even easier for owners to get their new puppies or dogs registered with the American Kennel Club.
They no longer need to create an online account before starting the registration process. With the new guest login option, they can simply sign in as a guest to complete their dog’s registration.
“We want to make it easy for dog owners to get their puppies registered so they can enjoy all the benefits that come with owning an AKC-registered dog,” said Linda Duncklee, AKC Sr Director of Registration Services.
When customers select the guest option, they will be taken directly to the register page. To get started, customers will be asked to provide an email address along with the dog information.
This makes it easy for breeders to support puppy buyers with the registration process. Breeders can guide buyers through online registration before the puppies leave for their new homes. Once registered, buyers gain immediate access to valuable AKC resources, and their puppies become eligible to participate in AKC programs and events.
