The League’s 10th Season of competition launched on May 12 with the largest turn-out so far for the program. Nearly 340 teams and more than 1850 dogs are competing in 10 different classes this season.
The Spring/Summer Season will wrap up on Aug. 3, and enrollment for the Fall Season opens on Aug. 14.
The AKC Agility League Championship will take place Sept. 26-28 at the T. Ed Garrison Arena in Pendleton, SC. The event will be livestreamed by AKC-TV.
The League is sponsored by Purina Pro Plan and AKC Pet Insurance.
Competition is offered for dogs of all skill levels: PhD (ISC courses); Senior (Masters/Excellent courses); Sophomore (Open courses); Freshman (Novice courses); and Elementary (Pre-competition courses without teeter or weaves).
There are also three different field/ring size divisions: Extended (min. 100 X 100); Regulation (min. 100 X 70); and Limited (min. 50 X 70).
