AKC Companion Animal Recovery held a microchip clinic on Saturday, April 24 in conjunction with the Bark Around the Park festival in Raleigh, NC.

Beautiful weather brought a great crowd and CAR microchipped nearly 50 dogs and even 2 Maine Coon cats! Christy Steger, veterinary technician with the SPCA of Wake County and Kerri Rosato, veterinary technician with Crossroads Veterinary Hospital graciously volunteered their time to implant microchips. CAR’s Director Sue Richey and CAR employees Caroline Collins, Kim Rose and Tihisa White were on-hand to answer questions about microchipping and greet patrons.
