Over the course of the championship, AKC/USA team members completed thirty-six runs in the Team and Individual competitions. This was the largest championship to date, with over 38 nations represented.

“Congratulations to our Large Dog Team. It was wonderful to see them on the podium as our National Anthem played. In addition to their success, the rest of the US team brought back wonderful individual team and individual placements,” said AKC Director of Agility Carrie DeYoung. “Our team members really enjoyed their experience in the Czech Republic and should be proud of the way their dedication and effort paid off in competition. We also thank our many sponsors, supporters and the AKC Agility community for their support, which plays a huge role in the World Team’s success.”

In addition to the gold medal won by the Large Dogs, the Small Dog team won a bronze medal in the Small Dog Team Jumping category, while the Medium Dogs placed eighth in Medium Dog Team Agility. Daisy Peel and Border Collie “Solar” finished 7th in Large Dog Individual Agility on their way to a combined Large Dog placement of 5th in the World!
