Organization takes home a total of 18 awards
The American Kennel Club is proud to announce that the Dog Writers Association of American (DWAA) has honored AKC.org, AKC.tv and its newsletters with a total of eight awards at its annual awards banquet. These awards bring the grand total of wins to 18 for 2020. AKC Publications won 10 awards.
AKC.TV’s “Ask the Expert” series won an award in the Video & TV Broadcasts category while AKC.org won a total of 6 awards for various topics in the Online Article or Blog Entry category. The AKC was also honored with The Canine Scribbles Award, won by William Hank with his article “11-Year-Old Cancer Fighter Fulfills Wish of Competing in AKC Agility with Dog Bruiser.”
