The National Obedience Invitational will join the prestigious AKC/Eukanuba National Invitational Championship in December 2003 at the Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center, Long Beach, CA.

The National Obedience Invitational will continue as a two-day competition on December 3rd and 4th, 2003. The National Agility Championship will also become a part of the event with championship rounds on the 3rd and 4th. The conformation championship will take place Wednesday, December 3.

Dogs invited to compete in the NOI are ranked in the top 25 nationally by OTCH points or ranked in the top three of their specific breed. If the number of dogs qualifying by OTCH points in a specific breed exceeds 30, then a total of 10% of that breed will be invited.

The eligibility period for the December will be from January 1, 2002 through June 30, 2003.

Judges will be Ms. Diane Allen, Ms. Bonnie Baker, Ms. Sharon Fulkerson, Mr. Jerry Iermiero, Mr. David Mauer, and Ms. Patricia Scully.
