Some of the fastest dogs in the country dashed after the coveted “bunny” lure in a 100-yard Fast CAT dash at Fastest Dogs USA, held on May 19 in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Many breeds and different-sized dogs raced to qualify for this event, and the winner was crowned the fastest dog in the country.

The top dog from the fastest breeds was invited, plus the Fastest Dogs USA winner from last year. Each dog ran the 100-yard dash twice, with the top five fastest running an additional heat to determine the winner.

All the action was aired on ESPN on July 29, 2023.
