Miss Coco Rochelle CDX PCDX BN GN RAE THDN CGC owned by Jean Schaardt of Manahawkin, NJ
Coco had a hard road in life, but is proof you can teach an old dog new tricks.
She spent the first seven years of her life in a Tennessee kennel and then was turned into a shelter, where she was quarantined for three months.
Through a New Jersey rescue group, Jean adopted her, and Coco was transported up to her in 2013.
“When Coco arrived she was completely un-socialized and terrified of people. But inside she was a loving dog that only wanted a chance. So at age 7 years, her life really began anew. And within 3 ½ years, she not only has her Rally Advanced Excellent title, but also her obedience Companion Dog Excellent (CDX) title.”
Coco is also an AKC titled Therapy Dog (THDN). “Once terrified of people, she now prances into an elementary school for her for her weekly Read to the Dog program and sits surrounded by the children.”
