Lucy of Hill Crest BN RE OAP OJP OFP CGC RATO recently retired from competition at age 11 after an amazingly successful career that earned her titles in several sports and a yard full of ribbons.
“I took this picture to reflect what a grand time we have had together,” said her owner Catherine Allred of Bossier City, LA. “Thank you AKC so much for making all these fun events open to mixed breeds. It opened up a world we never would have seen. She is a fabulous teammate, and it was my honor and joy to work with her.”
Lucy’s AKC honors included:
- Obedience title – Beginner Novice (BN)
- Rally title – Rally Excellent (RE)
- Agility titles – Open Standard, Open Jumpers & Open Fast
- Canine Good Citizen
- Barn Hunt title – Rat Open (RATO)
“I couldn’t be more proud of this girl. In 2011 we earned our club’s Team of the Year award for having achieved the most AKC titles in that year,” Catherine said. “There will never be another one like Lucy!”
