AKC Canine Partners congratulates the All American Dogs and their owners who took home honors from Orlando this past weekend. We already reported that Phelan took home the Fastest Dog in the Country top honor in the first-ever AKC Fast CAT Invitational. Other All Americans placed in the AKC Agility Invitational, AKC National Rally Championship, AKC National Obedience Championship, and AKC Junior Agility Competition.

The 2020 AKC Junior Agility Competition
AKC Canine Partners congratulates the junior handlers, age 18 and under, who competed with their All-American Dogs and won honors at the AKC Junior Agility Competition. Six teams made the finals in their height divisions and placed in the top 10!

Fast CAT
Congratulations to Wailin’ Phelan The Bearded Lass CAX FCAT3 owned by Krista Shreet and Ted Koch of Crownsville, MD who was crowned Fastest Dog USA at the first AKC Fast CAT Invitational. Phelan ran 100 yards in 6.346 seconds—or 32.3 miles per hour.
The fastest dogs from each breed, based on rankings from AKC Fast Coursing Ability Tests (Fast CAT), were invited to participate in the inaugural event for the designation of Fastest Dog USA. All dogs ran three times, with the cumulative speed determining the fastest dogs. The event brought together 117 dogs from across the country.
