February 2021 – Announcing the Addition of Jumpers to the Virtual ACT Program
The AKC Agility Department is excited to announce the expansion of the virtual ACT program to include the new ACT Jumpers classes. ACT Jumpers will include 2 levels. ACT 1J which will be jumps and possibly a tunnel and ACT 2J which will include 6 weave poles.
As with the original Virtual ACT 1 & ACT 2 exhibitors will record their performance and submit it to AKC. In turn, AKC will assign a pre-selected AKC Agility Judge to virtually review and score the team’s ACT Jumpers performance.
ACT Jumpers is open to all dogs over 15 months of age and older that have not earned any AKC agility titles, except for ACT 1 or ACT 2. Dogs do not have to have an ACT 1J title to be entered in ACT 2J.
We have added new Virtual ACT Jumpers courses. We recommend you use both in the set for ease of course building. The exhibitor will follow the setup instructions provided on the course, video the performance then upload the video to YouTube and submit the link with their entry form and fee to AKC. Alternatively, the exhibitor may directly upload their video file when submitting their online entry.
