AKC Public Education Certificate of Appreciation

Looking for a special way to acknowledge the good Public Education work of a member or group of members in your dog club? Consider the AKC Public Education Certificate of Appreciation to present at an upcoming club meeting.

An AKC Public Education Certificate of Appreciation, issued by the AKC Public Education department, recognizes the outstanding efforts and activities of fanciers to educate their communities about the AKC, the importance of registration and AKC events, purebred dogs and responsible dog ownership. The AKC appreciates the hard work Public Education Coordinators, Canine Ambassadors and other club members do to help spread the Public Education message.

So, if you know members of AKC-affiliated clubs who have staffed exceptional education tables or booths, conducted a successful meet-the-breed event, given dog show tours, visited schools or libraries (among many other possible activities), please let us know.

How to request a certificate? A club president may contact the AKC Public Education department and request an AKC Public Education Certificate of Appreciation. Please describe the Public Education accomplishments and list the names of members who deserve recognition. Upon approving a request, the department will send an AKC Public Education Certificate of Appreciation to the club president to award at the next kennel club meeting.

We look forward to hearing from you and about your clubs' Public Education activities!
