Students should choose one area of study for their project. Choices may include:

  • Being a Responsible Dog Owner
  • Safety around Dogs
  • Careers in Dogs
  • Dog Sports
  • Dog Training
  • Dogs with Jobs
  • Choosing a Dog

Other topics are possible and up to the teacher’s discretion.

While a fifth grader’s project might look like this:

Students should be encouraged to have fun with this project and be creative. You may choose to give them specific guidelines such as:

  • Your report must contain at least 3 facts (or more for older children).
  • Your report must contain at least 1 picture (drawn or computer generated).
  • Your report must be about one of the topics we learned about.
