For individuals who follow the American Kennel Club on Facebook (if you don’t, there’s no time like the present!), you may have noticed a change in how many of our posts you see in your news feed. Don’t worry, we haven’t stopped sharing adorable videos or informative articles, but Facebook has shifted its algorithm to favor family and friends over brands — meaning our incredibly fun and engaging content won’t always show up at the top of your homepage anymore.

Thankfully, there’s an easy way to fix this if you’re missing the cute pictures of puppies that used to dominate your wall. Follow the steps below to ensure you’re consistently seeing new AKC content at the top of your Facebook feed.

  1. Go to the American Kennel Club Facebook page.
  2. Hover your cursor over the “Following” tab in the center of the page.
  3. Click “See First” under the “In Your News Feed” section.
