The first dogs, Sunny and Bo, said goodbye to the White House in an Instagram post Thursday with First Lady, Michelle Obama.

The two Portuguese Water Dogs joined the First Lady as she took one last walk around “the People's House.” Bo joined the Obama family in 2009 and Sunny in 2013.

The pups have been a welcome sight for visitors to the White House and have made America smile with their affectionate, athletic, and adventurous PWD personalities.

Let's take a look at some adorable Sunny and Bo highlights over the years.
