People all over the country celebratedĀ Fourth of July this week. But what’s a celebration without canine companions? Naturally, the dog stars of Instagram joined in on the festivities ā and had a blast! Check out some of the highlights below.
For Frankie and Francesa, Fourth of July prep started early. They went out to buy new patriotic harnessesĀ for the occasion. Don’t they look adorable?
When the big day finally came, the Frenchie pair also showed off their fittingĀ flag bandanas. So precious.
As for Shamrock the service dog, he went all out rocking a bandana and firework headband that matched his vest. He definitely stops traffic with this getup!
After getting decked out in patriotic gear, the Labrador Retriever had some holiday fun in the sun. He lounged on a paddle board while his owner did all the work!
Shamrock ended his week with some “walkies” in the beautiful weather. He even sported a summer surfboard bandana. Look at that smile!
Like other canine stars, Garth the Golden Retriever sported a red, white, and blue bandana in honor of Independence Day.
He also hung out on a boat with his owners and enjoyed the sights, sounds, and smells of a local lake.
But he couldn’t stay still on the boat for long. Garth got wet and wild while sporting some incredibly cool shades.
As for Luna the Husky, she couldn’t contain her excitement. This is her “waiting for a popsicle” face.
On the Fourth, she posed for a festive photo shoot ā hat, beads, and all!
Afterwards, Luna was ready for a weekend nap. But, she did not appreciate her owner tickling her feet while she tried to snooze. Can you blame her?
Last but not least, Hank the Saint Bernard celebrated the holiday with some throwback pics to his puppy days. We just want to squeeze those little paws.
Look at him carrying that American flag like a pro. Way to go, Hank.
