With weather around the country ranging from hot and humid to thunderstorms and flooding, it’s safe to say we’ve hit the crazy days of summer. For the dog stars of Instagram, however, this unpredictable climate presents the perfect opportunity to be lazy. Before fall rolls in, our favorite canine friends spent this week catching up on some z’s. Scroll down for a few of the highlights!
Alfie the Pembroke Welsh Corgi had plenty of time to lounge while camping with his owners. He soon found that digging a hole in the shade was the perfect place for a rest.
Simba the Samoyed, on the other hand, refused to leave the comfort of his bed. We all have those days, don’t we.
This face says it all. Waffle the Bernese Mountain Dog was NOT entertained by her mom’s suggestion that they go for a run.
Meanwhile, Izzy the Xolo adorably blended in with her blankets. When the AC’s blasting, there’s nothing better than a snuggle on the couch.
What’s under the comforter? It’s a sleepy Frenchie! Did you know that dogs sleep 15 to 20 hours a day? They’re living the life.
Does it get any cuter than this? We don’t think so! Derek the Dachshund really has the whole nap thing down.
If you think Ralphy the Westie is willing to share his bean bag, think again! Don’t expect your comfy seat to be vacant for long if you leave the room.
Even service dogs need to shut their eyes for a bit. Being a working dog is no easy task, and we’re so proud of all the pups that do it so well, like Shamrock the Labrador Retriever.
A nap is better with a stuffed animal. Just ask Boomer the Newfie!
