This week, the dog stars of Instagram spent a lot of time sleeping … and honestly, we’re jealous. The Super Collies, however, were a little busier than most. Check out what they (along with some of our other friends) were up to.
After teaching all of us here at the AKC about “doggy dancing,” the famous Super Collies were back to business as usual. What does that look like for this group of Border Collies? Well, it’s keeping crowds entertained for one thing.
Marvel spent time working on his muscles.
Trainer Sara Carson and Hero went to a Phillies game and performed a routine with the Phillie Phanatic himself. There is nothing these pups can’t do! After all that hard work, Hero still had time to pose for a photo.
While the Super Collies were in the spotlight, Basil the Golden Retriever had a more relaxed week.
He spent some quality time at the park.
And after playing outside, it was bath time for Basil. Luckily, he doesn’t mind a good doggy massage.
But it didn’t take long for him to get back to enjoying the beautiful weather.
We’d say he’s living the good life.
A very low-key week, just how Basil likes it. You might remember this cutie from his fruits and vegetables video. If you haven’t seen it, check it out below!
First, there was this nap-tongue combo.
Look at that sleepy pup. Did you know dogs sleep an average of 12-14 hours a day? Gotta get in that shut-eye.
After a good snooze, Kona was ready for her other favorite activity: a walk! This is her excited face.
Then, she ended her week the same way it started. This is Kona’s “I don’t want to get out of bed” face. We can relate.

And after a little playtime, there’s only one thing left to do: catch up on some beauty sleep.
Finally, the snow dogs completed the trifecta of dog activities by chowing down. Play, sleep, eat. All is well.
Does your dog eat too fast? Try a slow feeder like the one Memphis has.
First, there was a post-grooming snuggle.
She’s in a prime position for a belly rub.
Then, there was a puppy-dad snuggle sesh. Is that not the sweetest thing you’ve ever seen?!
And lastly, there was cross-species snuggling. Who says cats and dogs can’t be best friends?
