Roxane Dutson is the first Patriotic Puppy Programs’ Participant of the Month!
Roxane has been active in the Patriotic Puppy Program since its inception in February 2019. With 20+ years of experience breeding and training dogs, Roxane got started with the AKC Hunt Test, and has expanded to obedience, hunt training, and now detection training. Puppies out of her breeding program have become diabetic alert dogs, search and rescue dogs, hunting dogs, and family companions so she decided to try the Patriotic Puppy Program as a means of branching out into other fields for the Labrador. Roxane has been one of the most consistent participants, submitting training records and hunt test videos and inspiring others by sharing her progress through posts to the participant Facebook group. She’s currently seeking a detection placement for her first program puppy, Maverick, and starting her second program puppy, 3-month-old Griz.
