With 22,000 events held each year, there’s a dog sport for every dog — and every owner. Whether you want to just want to watch or actually participate, it’s easy to find an event:
To Attend an Event
AKC events are fun and exciting for both owners and dogs! There’s no pressure to participate; you can just watch as a spectator, mingle with other dog lovers, and cheer on the competitors. To find an event to attend, check out our Event Calendar where you can search by type of event; breed eligibility; location; and date.
To Participate in an Event
Interested in participating in an event or reviewing the results from an event? Visit our new Event and Results Search.
You can search in a variety of ways including:
- By location within a designated mileage radius of a city.
- By competition type, including the ability to search for multiple competition types at once.
- By a custom date range.
- By breed eligibility.
- By judge assignments.
- By a specific Club.
