AKC President Dennis Sprung and COO John Lyons presented Noreen Strong, executive director of the Ronald McDonald House of Durham, a check for $2,000 on behalf of the AKC Community Events Team and all of the AKC employees. The money was used to redecorate one of the suites at the RMH into a dog-themed space. The room provides a place for families to stay when their children are being treated at nearby Duke Hospital.
