The American Kennel Club will be offering our innovative and popular program at the Reliant Park World Series of Dog Shows on Friday and Saturday, July 18 and 19 at the Reliant Center.

enables dog owners to bring their unregistered purebred dogs of a breed recognized by the American Kennel Club to this show ground for an on-site application and immediate evaluation. If approved, an ILP Certificate will be issued. The Indefinite Listing Privilege (ILP) program allows dogs enrolled in the ILP database to compete in AKC Obedience Trials, Agility Trials, Herding Tests and Trials, Lure Coursing Tests and Trials, Tracking Tests, Earthdog Tests, Field Events, and Junior Showmanship Competitions.

Enrollment in the ILP program has grown dramatically in the last few years due primarily to the value of being able to compete in popular AKC events. Through the local Obedience, Agility and All Breed Clubs, dog owners are being invited to bring their unregistered purebred dogs to the Rose City Classic held in Portland.

Should you have any further questions about this event you should contact Barbara Ohmann in Club Educational Services or Jack Norton in the Special Services Department. View the flier for details.
