The AKC is devastated to have to announce the death of Sue Gray, a valuable and popular member of the Special Services Department. Sue joined us in 1999 and has been an extremely competent, and very popular, connection to people in the sport of dogs as a “trouble shooter.”
Recently Sue took over the Foundation Stock Service, and has been instrumental in gaining approval for several breeds.
Sue Gray’s death is a great loss to the American Kennel Club. She loved her job and always assisted with any problem that might arise, trying to help others whenever she could.
Friends may call from 4-7 Wednesday at Murdoch Funeral Home in Marion, Iowa. Services will be at 10:30 am Thursday at the First United Methodist Church in Marion.
