An article appeared on page 8 of the December AKC Gazette asking readers for comments and input regarding a proposed AKC Working Dog Sport program. This article was placed incorrectly and we apologize for the error. It was intended for August 2003 publication, not December 2003. This inadvertent publication in no way indicates renewed interest or action by the Board.
After the Working Dog Sport proposal was presented to the Delegates at their September 2003 meeting, the AKC Board of Directors carefully considered the remarks and input of the Delegates and sent the Working Dog Sport proposal back to a Board Committee for review.
