The American Kennel Club (AKC) announced today the following changes in responsibilities in its Raleigh, NC office:

  • Robin Stansell’s duties as Director of Conformation Rules and Policies have been expanded to include overall responsibility for all Event Operations which includes Conformation, Performance, and Companion event plans and results. Robin was a member of the AKC Executive Field Staff and subsequently joined the team in Raleigh in February 2003. Robin also serves as staff liaison for the Delegates’ Dog Show Rules Committee. Sue Richey continues her duties as Director of Performance and Agility Operations.
  • Barbara Schwartz’s duties as Assistant Vice President of Pet Insurance Coordination have been expanded to include the AKC Veterinary Outreach Program and Support Services. Support Services includes purchasing, fulfillment, distribution services, facilities administration and digital print services. Barbara has been with the AKC for five years, serving as Director and then Assistant VP of Show Events and as the Show Chairperson for the first AKC/Eukanuba National Invitational Championship.
