Eleven AKC® National Agility Champions, one National Obedience Champion and the first-ever AKC Rally® National Champion were crowned from a record entry of more than 2,000 purebred and mixed-breed dogs at the American Kennel Club® (AKC®) Companion Events Extravaganza, which took place this weekend in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
“The winners of these Championship events are truly the best in their sport in the country and we’re proud to celebrate the accomplishments of these talented dogs and dedicated handlers,” said Doug Ljungren, AKC Vice President of Sports and Events. “With the cheering crowds and the excitement generated by the thousands of entrants from around the country, the Companion Events Extravaganza was a huge success.”
